Kalent vs TalentFindr: AI Sourcing Compared in 2026
At TalentFindr, ATS integration only opens on the Expert tier at 199 EUR a month. At Kalent it is an add-on on all three plans. 2026 comparison.
Kalent is the stronger choice for teams measured on filled roles, because it takes the time out of detecting the right profiles and plugs into the ATS you already own.
The Apec 2026 barometer of executive recruitment practices puts the average executive time-to-hire in France at 12 weeks. Kalent customers place in 10 days on average.
TalentFindr is a real peer, and a French one. It announces a global index, verified enrichment, scoring, a unified inbox and an autopilot agent called KAIA. This comparison runs both tools across eight criteria: the database, AI sourcing, candidate outreach, price, ATS integrations, compliance, workflow, and fit by team type. Every figure below was read on both vendors' public surfaces and documentation on 6 September 2026.
TL;DR:
- Kalent removes the sorting, not just the searching. The agent widens the search past what the brief expressed, applies qualification criteria rather than filters, and returns ranked profiles with the reason for the match written next to each one.
- Your ATS plugs in at a different point on each side. At TalentFindr, "ATS and ERP integration" is listed on the Sourcing Expert tier only, at 199 EUR a month. At Kalent it is an add-on available on all three plans, and included on Team.
- Four automated channels against three. Kalent runs email, LinkedIn, SMS and WhatsApp. SMS appears nowhere on TalentFindr's public surfaces.
- Reachability is published on one side only. Kalent publishes 250 million profiles enriched with verified contact details out of 850 million. TalentFindr announces more than 800 million and publishes no contactable count.
- Audited security is published on one side only. Kalent publishes a SOC 2 Type 2 report and 47 controls without a login. TalentFindr publishes no trust center, no certification and no product documentation.

Fifteen criteria, and Kalent loses none of them. Both search with AI, both take a brief before searching, both rank, both are built in France, and on those lines the question is settled. What separates them comes down to three facts: how much of the database is reachable, what leaves for the candidate, and which tier your ATS plugs into. One section below says what TalentFindr does better than us.
Why do recruiters pick Kalent?
For the time saved detecting the best profiles. Five links, each checkable.
1. The Kalent agent widens the search. A brief written by hand locks sourcing inside the vocabulary of whoever wrote it. An agent that has understood the intent goes looking for adjacent titles, equivalent paths, the companies that train the same profile. That is what separates a search from a sourcing run.
2. It applies qualification criteria, not filters. A filter cuts, a criterion judges.
3. It ranks, and it writes the reason for the match beside each profile.
4. The recruiter reads twenty ordered profiles instead of sorting five hundred. This is where the time is saved. Searching never took long. Sorting did.
5. Placement happens in 10 days on average, against the 12-week executive average published by Apec in its 2026 barometer.
In one sentence: Kalent cuts the time spent detecting the right profiles, because the agent widens the search, applies qualification criteria and ranks the results, which brings placement down to 10 days on average.
TalentFindr takes a brief before searching too, and that should be said. Its KAIA agent "structures the need, sources profiles, picks the right channel, sends the first approaches and follows up", with market mapping and several strategies explored in parallel. The ranking criteria are not detailed publicly, and the reason for the match is not described as returned to the recruiter.
Which platform has the bigger CV database, and which one returns reachable profiles?
TalentFindr announces more than 800 million profiles on a scope described as global. Kalent announces 850 million, of which 250 million are enriched with verified contact details. Fifty million apart on a global total does not make a shortlist better, and this page does not claim otherwise.
The total is not the metric that decides a sourcing run. The number of reachable profiles is. On a developer role in Rennes, the global total does not fill the list. The number of people you can actually contact this week does.
TalentFindr does not publish how many of its 800 million profiles carry a contact detail. It announces "verified contact details" and one-click enrichment, but no volume. That is information, not a gap: without that figure, the database comparison stops at the total. Kalent writes its own: 250 million out of 850.
Neither tool gives access to a French CV database. Not France Travail, not Apec, not HelloWork. The distinction is concrete for a team hiring in France: a CV database holds CVs uploaded by candidates in active search, with contact details given willingly; an aggregated profile index, like Kalent's and TalentFindr's, starts from public professional profiles.
And neither publishes a geographic breakdown. "A global talent pool" and "Europe and the United States" are not breakdowns. Ask both in the demo, and get the answer in writing: how many active profiles in my region, in my trade.
One detail only their documentation gives. TalentFindr's privacy policy states that professional profile data is kept "for a maximum of two years" from processing. That is a retention fact, not a criticism, and it does not appear on a homepage.
How does AI sourcing work on each tool?
Both take a brief before searching, both score. The gap is in what the machine returns, and where sourcing starts from.
At Kalent, context comes before sourcing. The Kalent agent takes the need, asks the questions that are missing, works out what the role really demands, what is negotiable and what is not. Then it applies qualification criteria, not filters, and returns an ordered list with the reason for the match written beside every profile. The recruiter fills in no search form. You do not use the tool, the tool uses what you know.
At TalentFindr, entry runs through two acknowledged modes. Copilot Sourcing, where the recruiter keeps control and validates each message. And Autopilot Sourcing, where the KAIA agent runs the chain and learns from each validation.
The practical difference shows on a hard role. A tool that returns 500 profiles moves the bottleneck instead of removing it: the recruiter spends the day sorting, then writing. You do not need 500 profiles. You want 20, best to worst, with the reason written next to each.
And Kalent starts where the recruiter already works. The Kalent MCP puts sourcing inside Claude: it starts in the conversation where the brief was already written, with no extra platform to open or learn (see the Kalent MCP). TalentFindr announces no MCP server, not on its public pages, not in its sitemap, and not in the llms.txt index it publishes for engines.
Which tool reaches candidates on more channels?
Kalent fires email, LinkedIn, SMS and WhatsApp from the same move, with a message written from the context gathered upstream rather than from a sequence template. Multichannel sequences are included in the Copilot plan and the Team plan (see our pricing).
At TalentFindr, multichannel covers LinkedIn, email and WhatsApp, with a unified inbox and an AI writing assistant. On its grid, automated LinkedIn campaigns are listed from Sourcing Business, and unlimited multichannel from Sourcing Pro. SMS appears nowhere: not on its product page, not on its KAIA page, not in its llms.txt, not in its terms and conditions.
Why does one more channel matter? Because some candidates do not read their work email, others are no longer active on LinkedIn, and SMS reaches the ones who ignore both. On a hard role, the difference between three channels and four is not a feature line, it is the number of people who will see your message.
But a channel is only worth what you put in it. Four channels carrying a generic message are worth less than one carrying a message that shows you read the career. Qualification is what decides the reply rate: a genuinely qualified candidate feels addressed, so they reply. That is why context comes before contact at Kalent, and not the other way round.
Neither vendor publishes a measured, documented reply rate. Neither side can hold a performance number over the other, and a comparison that quoted one would have invented it.
How much do Kalent and TalentFindr cost in 2026?
Kalent does not sell on price, and TalentFindr should not be judged on it. This block exists because it is the most typed question, and because two price lines do not compare without knowing what they open.
The Kalent grid, per licence:
| Plan | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| Sourcing | 149 EUR / month | 1,490 EUR / year |
| Copilot | 179 EUR / month | 1,790 EUR / year |
| Team | custom | custom |
Contact details included: 100 per month on monthly, 1,500 per year on annual. ATS integration and Claude MCP credits are add-ons on Sourcing and Copilot, and included on Team. Kalent lists the same figures as $149 and $179 on its US pricing page. No conversion is applied here.
The TalentFindr grid, platform:
| Plan | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| Sourcing Business | 99 EUR / month | 82 EUR / month |
| Sourcing Pro | 149 EUR / month | 124 EUR / month |
| Sourcing Expert | 199 EUR / month | 166 EUR / month |
| Sourcing Enterprise | custom | custom |
Contact details included: 6,000 a year on Business, 12,000 on Pro, 18,000 on Expert. The KAIA agent is bought separately: a Discovery plan at 0 EUR with no card, Solo at 149 EUR a month, Intensive at 299 EUR, Scale on quote, and a single agent at 199 EUR per role outside any subscription, 99 EUR for a subscriber.
Prices verified September 2026.
Three things the price line does not say.
- The price TalentFindr shows by default is the annual one, with a "2 months free" note and the monthly struck through beside it. A recruiter who reads 82 EUR and starts monthly will pay 99 EUR. That is the same display on every French grid read the same day, including ours: on this market, the headline price is almost always the annual price.
- Contact credits expire, and the documentation is sharper than the pricing page. TalentFindr's pricing FAQ says unused monthly credits roll up across the year on annual plans. Its terms and conditions say credits unused at the end of the current period are "neither carried over, nor refunded, nor converted into credit, unless otherwise agreed in writing". The 18,000 contact details on Sourcing Expert are an annual ceiling, not a capital.
- The billing basis is not published. Its grid does not say whether the price is per user or per account, and only Sourcing Enterprise mentions multi-user and team management. Kalent publishes its own, per licence, and publishes a Team plan.
A real team's invoice, on the only tier that opens the ATS on each side:
| The team | Kalent Sourcing plus ATS add-on | TalentFindr Sourcing Expert |
|---|---|---|
| 1 recruiter | 149 EUR / month, plus the add-on | 199 EUR / month |
| 3 recruiters | 447 EUR / month, plus the add-on | 597 EUR / month |
| 5 recruiters | the Team plan, ATS included | the Enterprise plan, custom |
This table compares invoices, not products. On the Expert tier, TalentFindr includes 18,000 contact details a year where Kalent's monthly Sourcing opens 100 a month. A team that unlocks a lot of contact details does not run the same calculation, and it is right to redo it.
On both sides, connecting your ATS costs extra. The difference is not the principle, it is the shape: an add-on you attach to the plan you already have on one side, a tier you have to reach on the other.
The three-recruiter line assumes per-user pricing at TalentFindr, which its grid does not confirm. That is the first question to ask before signing for three.
What ATS integrations, and which tier opens them?
This is the fact that decides this comparison, and it is easy to miss in a demo.
At TalentFindr, the "ATS and ERP integration" line is listed on the Sourcing Expert plan alone, at 199 EUR a month monthly and 166 EUR annual. The two tiers below, Sourcing Business and Sourcing Pro, do not mention it. Sourcing Enterprise, custom, adds "advanced ATS and ERP integrations".
At Kalent, ATS integration is an add-on available on all three plans, with more than 50 ATS announced, including Teamtailor, Tellent, Workday and BoondManager, and it is included in the Team plan (see our integrations and our pricing).
What that changes for a team that already owns an ATS. Without the connection, output happens by file export and re-entry by manual import: contact history, notes and statuses do not travel between the two tools. A team that has paid for its ATS, trained its recruiters on it and put its history in it does not want one more interface. The right sourcing tool plugs into it, it does not replace it.
And TalentFindr names no ATS publicly. Its integrations page says it connects to "the market's leading recruitment ATS and CRM systems" and invites you to contact them to check a specific tool, without naming one or giving a total. Kalent's "more than 50" therefore has no counted figure facing it: it is not 50 against a smaller number, it is 50 against a number that is not published.
Its documentation does say what the export pushes, and it is precise: candidate record, verified contact details, source, message history and status, with control over what leaves and when. That is good documentation work, and it is reserved for one tier.
How do Kalent and TalentFindr handle GDPR and the AI Act?
The date most pages still quote has been wrong since this summer. The AI Act's high-risk obligations did not start applying on 2 August 2026.
- Recruitment is classified high risk. Annex III of the EU AI Regulation explicitly covers recruitment, application screening and candidate evaluation.
- Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, the AI Digital Omnibus, entered into force on 27 July 2026 and pushed Annex III obligations to 2 December 2027.
- Postponed is not cancelled. Article 50 on transparency, Chapter IX on market surveillance and Chapter XII on penalties have applied since 2 August 2026.
Why it matters to a European buyer: it is the deployer, meaning the recruiter, who carries part of these obligations. A vendor that has its controls audited and publishes the report does half the work.
| What is published | Kalent | TalentFindr |
|---|---|---|
| SOC 2 Type 2 report, publicly accessible | ✓ no login | ❌ not mentioned |
| Number of published controls | ✓ 47 | ❌ none |
| Trust center online | ✓ trust.kalent.ai | ❌ none published |
| GDPR compliance stated | ✓ | ✓ |
| Built in France | ✓ | ✓ |
"Not mentioned" is not "absent". TalentFindr may hold a certification it does not publish. This table records what is published, not what exists.
What its policy says, and it deserves reading before signing. TalentFindr writes that its automated processing does not, on its own, produce legal effects and does not constitute a fully automated decision within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR, and that clients retain control over their hiring decisions. That is the right legal position, and it is written down.
What it does not say, and what its product page asserts. Its "AI sourcing software" page announces "GDPR, hosted in the EU". Its privacy policy names no host and no country: it mentions "hosting providers" without designating them, states that a list of main subprocessors "may be provided on request", and frames transfers outside the Union with adequacy decisions or standard clauses. A hosting claim is verified in the binding document, not on a product page.
And TalentFindr publishes no trust center, no security certification, no product documentation and no changelog. Its sitemap and its llms.txt, which each list all of its pages, contain none. Kalent publishes a SOC 2 Type 2 report from an independent auditor, with 47 controls and 5 documents readable without a login.
What does TalentFindr do better than Kalent?
Three things, and they are factual. A vendor comparison that lists none does not deserve to be read.
- Its announced scope is global, Kalent's is not. 800 million profiles on a pool described as worldwide. On a search outside Europe and the United States, TalentFindr has the material.
- You can test it without paying and without talking to anyone. The Discovery plan is 0 EUR, no card, and returns the 25 best scored candidates with a contact preview. Kalent advertises no equivalent free plan.
- Pay-per-use exists. A single KAIA agent, 199 EUR per role, no subscription. A team with one hard role a year has no advertised equivalent at Kalent.
Which one suits a recruitment agency better?
Kalent, when the agency is paid to place candidates. The agent takes the client's need, applies qualification criteria, returns twenty ranked profiles with the reason for the match, then fires outreach on four channels. Placement lands in under two weeks. More than 50 ATS as an add-on, including BoondManager (see our agency page).
TalentFindr, for an agency with one hard role a year. Its single-agent purchase at 199 EUR per role has no equivalent at Kalent, and for that shape of need it is the honest answer.
Which one suits an in-house TA team better?
Kalent, when the team already owns an ATS. The integration is an add-on on all three plans and included on Team, so the connection does not require jumping a tier. See our enterprise page.
And for a European team, audited compliance is not a formality. SOC 2 Type 2, GDPR, 47 controls readable without a login, built in France.
Kalent or TalentFindr: the verdict
Kalent. Both are French, both search with AI, both take a brief, both rank. On those lines the question is settled.
What separates them is downstream. Kalent publishes how much of its database is reachable, 250 million out of 850. It automates a fourth channel that TalentFindr does not mention anywhere. It lets you plug in your ATS from the entry plan instead of at 199 EUR a month. And it publishes an audited SOC 2 Type 2 report with 47 controls, readable without a login, where TalentFindr publishes no trust center at all. Placement lands in 10 days on average, against a 12-week executive average published by Apec.
Global reach and pay-per-use are TalentFindr's terrain. Reachable profiles, the fourth channel, the ATS at entry level and audited compliance are Kalent's.
